How this calculator works
TikTok income now comes from three meaningfully different sources, so this tool estimates all three separately:
1. Creator Rewards Program
TikTok's Creator Rewards Program (which replaced the original Creator Fund in 2024) pays based on video performance, originality, and watch time rather than raw views alone, but publicly reported estimates put typical payouts around $0.40–$1.00 per 1,000 qualifying views, several times higher than the old Creator Fund, but still highly variable and only available to eligible accounts (1,000+ followers, videos over 1 minute, based in an eligible country).
2. Brand / sponsored post deals
For most established TikTok creators, sponsorships, not the Rewards Program, are a primary income source. A widely used industry rule of thumb is roughly $100 per 10,000 followers per sponsored post, adjusted up or down based on engagement rate and content niche, since finance, tech, and beauty accounts consistently command higher rates than general lifestyle or gaming content at the same follower count.
3. TikTok Shop affiliate commissions
As of 2026, TikTok Shop affiliate commissions have become the single largest revenue channel on the platform, reportedly driving over 40% of US TikTok Shop GMV through creators. Average commission runs around 13% per sale (10–15% for open collaborations, 15–50% for negotiated deals with proven performers, and often 20–30% on LIVE sessions specifically). - It's based on reported monthly income ranges by follower tier from creator and platform data, not a formula tied to your views or engagement. Actual TikTok Shop income depends almost entirely on what products you promote and your conversion rate, which no calculator can know in advance.
- Do TikTok Live gifts count toward this estimate?
- No. Live Gifts are a separate revenue stream converted through Diamonds, and aren't included in any of the estimates above.
